My photography generally takes me to the beginning of people’s journeys together, whether they be engagements, weddings, pregnancy or new family members, so I was delighted to be asked to photograph Ben and Joan Finney for their diamond wedding anniversary! 60 years of marriage, and they were full of life, laughter and love. It was an absolute honour to spend an hour with them and learn about their life together. And did I ask them to share their secrets to a long, happy marriage? You bet!
